A total of four Frontier Markets ETFs are planned. They include :
Africa ETF - This fund will seeks to replicate yield and price performance of the Africa Index. The Africa Index is made up of companies with market capitalization of more than $200 million. The companies also need to generate the majority of their revenue in Africa or be headquartered in Africa.
Global Frontier ETF - This exchange traded fund will seek to match the price as well as yield performance of the Global Frontier Index. This Frontier index is made up of companies that have a market capitalization greater than $100 million and that are generating the majority of their revenue from frontier markets or that have corporate headquarters in frontier markets. Frontier markets are countries with less developed capital markets or smaller economies, smaller than the current emerging markets.
Gulf States ETF - It will seek to replicate the price and the yield performance of the Gulf Corporation Council Frontier Market Index. This particular index is comprised of companies with market capitalization greater than $100 million. It will also include countries that either are headquartered in the GCC or that are generating the majority of their revenue in countries belonging to the GCC. Countries in the index include Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, , Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Vietnam ETF - This fund will try to replicate the yield and price performance of the Vietnam Index. The Vietnam index includes companies with stock market capitalization higher than $200 million. The companies must also be either headquartered in Vietnam, or, similar to the above indexes, the companies must generate a majority of their revenue in Vietnam.
